Sacred Dugong - Dugong - Earrings
Sacred Dugong - Dugong - Earrings
- Part of our Spirit Design Collection -
Sacred Dugong is a tribute to the gentle power and deep spirit of the dugong, soft, sacred, and ancient. Moving slowly through saltwater Country, the dugong carries stories as old as the sea. In Aboriginal culture, dugongs are more than marine animals — they are spirit beings, part of our Dreaming, and often linked to the matriarchal lines of guidance, nurturing, and connection to family.
These earrings honour that sacred bond, between people, water, and spirit. Sacred Dugong reflects the slow magic of the sea, the wisdom of Elders, and the deep knowing that exists in stillness. Wear them as a connection to saltwater Dreaming, as a sign of quiet power, and as a reminder that healing often comes softly, like the drift of a dugong through sea Country.
Wearing these earrings invites calm, wisdom, and gentle strength. Dugongs have long supported coastal mobs through both nourishment and spirit, reminding us to live in balance. As caretakers of the sea floor, they teach us to move lightly and in harmony with the tides.
Spirit Design Collection - As these earrings are apart of our Wulkuraka Spirit Designs’ they are surrounded by elements of Earth (dots) and our position in the Milky Way - Solar System (moons/stars). Top of earring is a black stud with dots representing a yarning circle. Bottom is a small black diamond sharp charm showcasing the anchor point we have in our lives. Grounding us to be better in our lives.
